Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, etc., helpful
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel PowerPoint, and Word

  • Advanced QuickBooks knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all HR needs including recruitment, new-hire implementation, interviewing, billing, and payroll, as well as for overseeing and/or facilitating various special projects independently.
  • Review time and attendance sheets, wage computation and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Review, code and enter documents according to company guidelines.
  • Knowledge of sales tax reporting, AP, AR
  • Advanced QuickBooks experience
  • Written correspondence with clients for invoicing purposes
  • This position requires accounting experience and knowledge in general accounting, payroll, sales taxes and general business taxes. Tasks include processing weekly accounts payable, processing bi-weekly payroll, filing sales tax reporting, and preparing monthly financials.
  • This position works in a two-person team and works directly with the owners of the company. An outside accounting firm handles business tax filings, year-end adjustments and financial review.
  • We are looking for a team player that wants to be actively involved in administering the day-to-day tasks of running a small company. They must be excellent at communication and interpersonal skills. They must have experience in preparing financials and understanding of all accounting functions. They must have experience in processing payroll and filing appropriate taxes. Must have extensive experience in QuickBooks.  Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with government contracts a plus but not required.

Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)

Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Design Engineer

Phelps2020 is a fast-growing company that develops and commercializes cutting edge computer vision, video analytics, and artificial intelligence optimized and embedded solutions for government and commercial applications. We are currently developing multiple small-form factor video processing units utilizing the Xilinx’s Zynq UltraScale+ family.

Phelps2020 is seeking an Embedded Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in FPGA-embedded code design, generation, optimization, and testing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Video processing IP development on Xilinx’s Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, based on provided or developed Maltab/C++ code
  • FPGA synthesis, Place & Route, and verification on Xilinx’s Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC
  • Testing using various modern Xilinx FPGA debugging tools
  • Release documentation to support projects
  • Understanding and interpreting Matlab and C++ code and the process of porting said code to FPGA
  • Engineering support to the research, development, and analysis effort in real time video processing, artificial intelligence, and related instrumentation

Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (EE-CE) from an accredited institution with 1-3 years of related experience, or MS degree in EE-CE with 1 year of related experience
  • Experience in FPGA development using VHDL or Verilog, simulation, and verification tool(s)
  • Knowledge of Microprocessors, Programmable Logic, Real-Time Systems, and Analog and Digital Designs.
  • Knowledge of Xilinx FPGA development tools, i. e., Vivado HLS, SDSoC, and Vitis
  • Experience with Xilinx’s Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC a plus
  • Experience in C or C++ and Matlab programming
  • Familiarity with image processing concepts and video manipulation techniques
  • Comfortable working in a Linux development environment
